Roll and (re)write the 2024 US presidential election in this tense electoral strategy game. Draft dice in this interactive roll & write to thwart the other candidate in a tense game that could go any way – right to the end.

One player rolls three dice, and chooses one die to keep for themselves. The other player then similarly picks from the remaining two, with the final one being available to both players as a shared die. Each die is a different colour which relates to an age demographic; odd and even values allow you to target blue-collar and white-collar voters respectively.

Each player uses the value and colour of the dice to claim voters in one of seven swing states, targeting them by demographic in order to be the first to claim the independent 'purple' voter, and win the electoral college victory points for that state. Or they can use the dice values to activate powers on their player sheet, to manipulate the dice in future.

The first to win the majority of the swing states' votes wins the game, and the presidency!

Print and Play

Poll & Write is a print-and-play (PnP) game. This means you receive the digital files and need to print these in order to play. These are designed to be printed on A4 or Letter paper and although they are colourful, everything important is dual-coded (using a shape as well as a colour) so you can print in black-and-white if you prefer. 

For each game you will need: 

• one player sheet per player (half a sheet) 
• one copy of the shared map 
• pages 1–4 of the rulebook (plus page 5 for solo rules) 

Additional components

Pens or pencils (one per player) should ideally match party colours – this will help players to quickly see which party has claimed which voters.

You’ll also need to supply:

• three six-sided dice of different colours
• nine blue cubes and nine red cubes (small: 0.6cm / quarter inch) for the player sheets
